Samsung’s Tablet runs @ 1.2GHz & Android 2.2

As you all know by now, the device on the left is the Galaxy S and the device on the right is Samsung’s upcoming tablet, now supposedly called “Tape.” We’ve posted a lot of info on the Tape as it’s now supposedly called, but none of that info has been anything that you could really sink your teeth into. Until now.

Reports are coming in from Tinh Te that this upcoming tablet will sport a 1.2GHz A8 processor, sport 16GB of onboard storage with support for 32 more GB’s through a microSD card. Like the Galaxy S, the Tape will have a gorgeous Super AMOLED screen (you know, the kind that are superior to the iPhone 4’s :P ), which should make outdoor visibility a breeze. The 7in Tape will also feature a 4,000mAH battery that no doubt contributes to its 370g weight. However, with that much battery on tap, users should expect some pretty good battery life, considering how efficient Samsung’s Super AMOLED technology is.
