On many occasions I have seen individuals ask for an application that will back up SMS messages to e-mail. A new app on the marketplace from Value Apps called Text Message Backup does specifically that, and it couldn’t be simpler to use. Basically install the app, enter your e-mail address, and save. Show Me the Images is an awesome app from BBerryGo that makes viewing images in email a lot easier. The app will automatically download and display images in email, instead of the BlackBerry default way by waiting for you to click options, get images. The app is simple to use. You need only to add email addresses to a "safe list" and the app will then automatically download images in any further email from that address.

Show Me the Images is one of my favorite and most used applications for BlackBerry, and would come in handy for any BlackBerry user. You can pick up Show Me the Images for $2.99 at the CrackBerry App Store for most devices on OS 4.6 and up.

Andrew over at AG Designs & Graphics let us know that they just released an updated version of one of their best selling themes, !Reflect 7. All graphics were remade, newly created or highly optimized to cut down on theme size, increase visual appeal and, most importantly, improve performance. The resulting theme, called !Reflect7 Carbon, has all new cursors, dialog boxes, awesome buttons and improved phone/notification icons.

Both touch screen and non-touch screen versions have a sliding dock along the bottom of the home screen. The non-touch version has 10 icon dock with hotspots and hotkeys for icons 11-15. Touch screen devices will have a dock that is customizable with either 4 or 8 icons, depending on how many rows you choose. Both versions have hotspots as well.

Tronic is a newer theme from WJD Designs, that has recently been updated to support the Curve 8900, and Torch 9800 due to popular request. The theme is visually striking, and packed full of customization. Tronic features control of how many icons rows you have, custom battery and signal meters as well as a "mesh wallpaper" that keeps the surrounding interface when personalizing your wallpaper. The overall look of the theme is brilliant and totally custom, and for some reason reminds me of a certain movie.
