HTC Aria Out Early at AT&T Stores

htc-aria-unboxed

If you are eager to get your hands on AT&T’s second attempt at an Android phone, the HTC Aria (arguably better than the Motorola Backflip but still equally gimped), you may not have to wait until its Sunday release date as some happy customers are leaving their local retailers with the phone in hand. Engadget has gotten a hold of some shots of one owner’s new Aria. It is also being reported that the phone is in stock for purchase at some Best Buy Mobile locations. For the price of $129.99 on contract the it too can be yours.

Verizon BlackBerry Bold 9650 Available For Direct Fufillment June 3rd, In Stores June 10th?

Verizon BlackBerry Bold 9650 Available For Direct Fufillment June 3rd, In Stores June 10th?

Could it be? Could Verizon customers actually be able to grab the BlackBerry Bold 9650 through direct fufillment on June 3rd and then head on into a store to grab one on June 10th? Sure seems that way if the internal pic above is to be believed. If it turns out to be correct then it should make some Verizon customers out there who have been waiting what seems like, forever for this device. Thanks to everyone who sent this in and exploded our tip line.

Rumor alert: Nexus One coming to stores

Can you think of a technology retailer that sells accessories for a product they don’t carry? I know I’m having a hard time, and that’s what makes this so interesting. T-Mobile stores around the country are receiving shipments of cases and protective covers for the Nexus One. TmoToday takes the speculation a step further:

If you take a look at the above image, you’ll see that the device’s name isn’t the “Google” Nexus One; for the first time the phone is being branded as an HTC device. Also, there’s T-Mobile branding on the boxing around the accessories.

The suggestion that this is only T-Mobile’s way to offer more to the Nexus One owner or raise awareness of the device doesn’t seem logical.  I know I’ve never gained interest in a phone I didn’t have just by looking at a protective cover.  Given that for the salespeople the most profit is in the accessories, this could just be another outlet for them to make a sale.

We’ll all have to wait and see if more develops.

CONFIRMED: HTC Desire In TMO UK Stores March 29th

This image has no alt text

If you live in the UK it’ll only be a few more days until you can waltz into a local T-Mobile UK retail store and buy exactly what your little heart… wants – an HTC Desire. On the TMO UK Support Forums a team member has made it official by confirming an in-store date of March 29th.

tmoukdesire

Of course you could have already purchase the Desire either online or through telesales with a promise to get it one week later, but if you’re the type who needs to put your hands on the hardware and smudge up the screen a bit before deciding – the option is almost yours.

How many of our UK friends are going to hop on this opportunity?
